Who I am

This website is run by Jake Anthony, trading as FORGE, based in Liverpool. If you have any question about your information, you can reach me at [email protected].

What information I collect

I only collect what you choose to send me. If you use the contact form, that is your name, your business name, your town and your mobile number. If you message me on WhatsApp or call, I will have whatever you share in that conversation. I do not ask for anything I do not need to give you a quote and get back to you.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they use, so I can make it better. It sets cookies and shares anonymised usage data with Google as a processor. It only runs if you accept the cookie banner when you first visit. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind any time by clearing this site's cookies in your browser. I set no advertising cookies and do no ad tracking.

How I use it

I use your details for one thing: to reply to you, prepare a quote, and talk to you about building or looking after your website. I do not use it for anything else, and I do not send you marketing you did not ask for.

Who it is shared with

The contact form is handled by Formspree, which passes your message on to me. In doing so, your form details pass through Formspree's systems as a processor. If you accept analytics, anonymised usage data is processed by Google Analytics. I do not sell your information to anyone, ever, and I do not share it beyond what is needed to reply to you and run the site.

How long I keep it

I keep your enquiry for as long as I need it to help you, and to keep a sensible record of work and quotes. If you would like me to delete your details, just ask and I will.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Contact me at [email protected] and I will sort it out. If you are ever unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK regulator.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page.
