Why I started FORGE.
I am Jake Anthony. I run FORGE on my own, out of Liverpool, and I build websites for trades and local businesses across the United Kingdom.
Most websites sold to small businesses are a poor deal. They are slow, built from a template, priced like a favour, and then you are left to it. I wanted to do the opposite: build the site properly, show it to you finished, and stick around to look after it.
So that is what FORGE is. I build fast, static sites because that is what ranks and what gets the phone to ring. You own what I build, and you are never locked in.
How I work
Three things I do not budge on.
I build it on spec
I make the site first and send it to you finished. You only pay once you can see it works. If it is not right, you have not lost anything.
I build it fast and static
No WordPress, no plugins, no bloat. The pages load instantly, which is what Google rewards and what turns a visitor into a phone call.
You deal with me
One person, start to finish. You message me and I make the change. No account managers, no ticket queue, no waiting a week for a price.
